Boltwork: Screw Puzzle

Boltwork is a calm screw puzzle. Plates are stacked on a steel pegboard, each one held down by screws. Move the screws into free holes, and every plate with nothing left holding it falls away. Clear the board to take the machine apart.

Click a screw to lift it, then click a free hole, or drag it straight there. A screw with another plate lying on it cannot be lifted, so the order matters. Run out of free holes with plates still on the board and you are stuck, so plan each move before you make it.

• Glass plates that show the screws hidden underneath
• Wood, candy and glass plates, and brass, black, copper and gold screw heads
• Coins from every level to spend on the collection
• English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Plays offline, no account.

Controls (PC)

• Mouse: click a screw, then a free hole (or drag it there).
• Esc: back / pause

The itch.io version

• No ads. No in-app purchases. The full game, once.
• The drill (an extra hole) and undo are free buttons here, on their two-minute cooldown. "Second chance" after a fail is free once per level.
• "Double your coins" is not in this version.
• A 540x960 window that fits a 1080p screen and can be resized.
