Chai Chapter: Tea Stall Cooking Game

A tiny counter, a steaming kettle and a new chapter. Reopen your family's chai stall and make it a place where the neighbourhood feels at home again.

Chai Chapter is a cozy tea stall game. Read each order, mix the right tea and spices, brew it and serve it before the cup cools.

How it plays

• Click a customer ticket to see their recipe.
• Pick the ingredients, brew the tea, then serve the customer you selected.
• Ingredients run low: refill them, but refilling takes time, so plan ahead.
• Keep the queue happy to finish the shift.

60 shifts, 12 recipes, eight regulars

Learn new recipes as the stall grows and get to know its eight regular customers, each with a little story. A new daily shift waits every day.

Two ways to run the stall

• A relaxed shift: your customers can wait. Get every recipe right, no timer.
• The busy counter: three orders, limited ingredients and a queue to keep happy.

Your neighbourhood stall

Spend your coins on a clean counter, a quicker kettle, a larger pantry, a waiting bench, a second burner and a shaded awning. Collect six decorations, from clay colours to golden lamps.

Controls (PC)

• Mouse: click a customer ticket, pick the ingredients, brew, then serve.
• Keys: 1-9: pick an ingredient. Space: brew, then serve. R: refill. Backspace: empty the cup.
• Enter: the screen's main button (Play, Next, Continue). Esc: back / pause; on the home screen it asks before quitting.

The itch.io version

• No ads. No in-app purchases. The full game, once.
• The helps from the mobile version are free, each once per challenge: Recover a missed order, Refill every ingredient now and Try a decoration for this shift.
• "Double coins" from the mobile version is not in this one.
• Hindi, English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese: switch any time in Settings.
• A 480x960 window that fits a 1080p screen and can be resized. Plays offline, no account.
