Your grandfather built a dinosaur park and never finished it. What he left you is a few pens, a hatchery, and his breeding ledger: seventeen species, five colours each, and most of the rows still blank.

Pair two dinosaurs of the same kind and wait out the egg. The hatchling takes its colour from its parents, mostly one or the other and now and then a colour neither of them had. The Hatchery shows you the odds for every colour before you pair, so the gamble is yours to plan. Then the hatchling grows into an adult in real time, whether the game is open or not.

A session is short on purpose. Your dinosaurs bank coins where they stand, even while the game is shut, so you open it, click them, take the takings, and spend them on the next pairing. Eggs take from two minutes to forty depending on the species.
