Murder Phone: Text Detective

You found a phone in the gutter outside a bar. Its owner never came back for it. Everything that happened that night is still on this phone, and you are the one holding it.

Open the message threads. Text the people in the contact list. They lie, they deflect, they get defensive, and every lie can be checked against something else on the phone: a photo with the wrong thing in the reflection, a payment that should not exist, a voicemail she never got to hear.

• Interrogate by text. Suspects answer back, dodge, and eventually crack.
• Accuse with proof. Naming the killer is not enough. You pick the evidence that convicts them.
• Search a whole phone. Messages, photos, banking, notes, voicemail, browser history.
• Locked apps are puzzles. The passcode is always somewhere in the story.
• Watch their trust. Push a suspect the wrong way and they stop answering.
• Ten cases, 10 to 26 minutes each, each with a different killer.
• Fully offline. No account, no login, no server.
• English, Korean and Japanese.
• No ads, no purchases. The optional helps (a lead, a second chance with a suspect, a case summary) are free buttons.

The cases get harder as you go. The first one hands you the method. By the last you are holding a bank transfer against a timestamp against a photo somebody forgot to delete. Every case closes with a Detective Score: how much of the phone you actually searched before you named anyone.

Every case is fiction. Names, places and details are invented.
