Night Shift: Hospital Sim

Eight hours. One nurse. A ward that carries on whether you act or not.

Night Shift is a hospital ward game about holding things together. Hold the mouse button and drag, and the nurse follows. Bells ring, patience drains, and you decide who gets seen next. Ten at night to six in the morning, in about three minutes.

Steady is the win. Nobody gets better here. The best a night does is hold the ward level until morning, and holding it is the whole job.

The ward runs without you. People ask for things on their own schedule. They lose patience on their own clock, and six in the morning arrives whatever you did.

The streak. Jobs finished back to back build a multiplier. The moment anybody goes acute it is gone.

The rounds. The ward expects you at every bed at midnight, two and four. Walk it and you are paid for it. Sign the book without walking it and you are paid less, and the book says you went.

The one bad outcome is a transfer. Nobody dies in this game. A patient nobody reaches in time is moved to a unit that can take them, and the handover counts it.

Dawn. At six a slow warm wash comes in from the window side, bed by bed, and the handover chart types itself out over the top of it.

Not a medical app. This is a game. It gives no advice, makes no diagnosis and is accurate about nothing.

English and Korean. Plays offline, no account, no energy bar.

• No ads. No in-app purchases. The full game, once.
• "Agency cover" (reset the ward to steady for one night) is a free button here. It only appears after a night that went badly.
• The mobile version's next-night perks and "clear a mark" are not in this version: free every dawn they would be a perk every night and a record that never fills.
• A tall window (474x1000) that fits a 1080p screen and can be resized.
