Northmark: Ski Orienteering Game

Ski orienteering is a race against the clock with a map. Pick your way along the trail network to the numbered controls, in order. Thin trails are slower, sprinting burns energy, and resting at a junction gets it back. There is no arrow pointing the way: the route you choose is the race.

Play the career for medals on quick, efficient routes, or explore any course in practice at your own pace.

Controls (PC)

• Mouse: click a connected junction to ski to it.
• WASD or the arrow keys: ski to the junction in that direction.
• Hold Shift (or Sprint): sprint. R (or Rest): rest at a junction. M or Space (or Map): fold out the map.
• Esc: back / pause.

The itch.io version

• No ads. No in-app purchases. The full game, once.
• Every finished course pays double tokens. On mobile that took a video; here it is just how the game works.
• A 540x960 window that fits a 1080p screen and can be resized.

Linux requires libcurl.so.4 in addition to a working graphics driver.
