Roommate Drama: Texting Game

You just signed a twelve-month lease. Now your phone will not stop.

Roommate Drama is a texting game played entirely in your phone's messages, where your choices decide who still trusts you. Sam is warm, chaotic and has never once paid rent on the day. Dee is precise, quiet and laminates the chore chart. The landlord texts in one-sentence messages that end with a full stop. Sam's partner does not live here but has a key. The neighbour downstairs hears everything and bakes before she complains.

All five have your number. The whole game is your phone.

How it plays

• Read the messages as they land, month by month
• Pick every reply. No typing, no timers, no wrong-button deaths
• Every person remembers what you said. Side with one and it costs you with the rest
• Let the drama climb and THE GROUP CHAT leaks it to everyone

What's in it

• Twelve chapters, one per month of the lease
• Nearly a thousand messages, all written for this game
• Twelve endings, depending on who still trusts you when the lease is up
• Sixty moments to collect: the texts you will want to screenshot
• English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Plays offline, no account.

The itch.io version

• No ads. No in-app purchases. The full game, once.
• There is still a short wait between chapters. Skip the wait is a free button, so you choose the pace.
• Peek at the reply shows what each reply will do before you send it, free.
• The Google Play version's "Get 3 Charm" video offer is not in this version.

Installing

• This is an Android APK. Download it on your phone, open it, and allow installs from your browser or file manager when Android asks.
• It installs next to the Google Play version and keeps its own save.

A comedy about living with people. The joke is always the situation, never the person.
