Supply Run: Loot the House
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
One house. One bag. A noise meter that only ever goes up.
Supply Run is a scavenging game about knowing when to leave. Three houses on offer, each with a size, a risk and a rumour from whoever was in last. Pick one, go in, and carry out what you can before the house hears you. Two or three minutes, door to door.
Every drawer is a decision. Click anything with a drawer, a door or a lid. Every one you open is heard, and the noise only goes up. Nothing in the game takes it back down.
The bag holds weight, not things. A heavy thing is two light ones you are not carrying. You decide at the moment you find it, with the meter climbing behind you.
One more room, or the door. After every room the game asks, and nothing decides for you. Get out with the bag and it is yours. Fill the meter first and you lose the bag. Not the run, not your money. The bag.
The sound inverts. The nearer the meter is to full, the quieter it gets. The last room has no music in it.
Nothing to fight. Empty streets, houses left in a hurry, and not one zombie ever shown. No weapon, no enemy, no body. The threat is being heard. The answer to it is leaving.
What's in it
- Five building types: bungalow, terrace, warehouse, clinic, farmhouse
- Rooms laid out fresh every run
- Seven pieces of kit to buy, from quiet boots to a proper torch
- Twenty-four goals, and three things nobody tells you about
- English and Korean, both written rather than translated. Plays offline, no account, no energy bar.
Controls (PC)
- Mouse: click drawers, doors and lids; click Take to bag a thing; choose a room or the door.
- Esc: back
The itch.io version
- No ads. No in-app purchases. The full game, once.
- "Take an advance on tonight's fare" is a free button here. It only shows up when nothing on the board is affordable.
- The mobile version's other video offers (one quieter room, quiet boots for a run, a second bag, another go at a strongbox) are not in this version: free on every run they would take the risk out of it. Quiet boots are still in the shop.
- A tall window (540x960) that fits a 1080p screen and can be resized.
